We are on the threshold of a new era – we must put sustainability at the heart of how we live, work and play if we are to protect the world for future generations. Preparing today’s students for a tomorrow’s greener world is an essential part of securing our future.

Citizenship for Sustainability is a unique Key Stage 3 programme of study, which provides teachers with the tools to deliver learning about sustainability and develop students’ skills such as decision making, group participation, discussion, research and critical thinking. Based upon the 8 doorways defined in the National Framework for Sustainable Schools, the programme will cover the following topics:
